BGA Fall E-Waste Drive

4THBIN, an e-Stewards 4.0 certified and secure e-recycling solution provider, will partner with the Broadway Green Alliance (BGA) for a Fall E-Waste Drive at Father Duffy Square (46th Street between 7th Avenue and Broadway) in New York City on November 17, 2021 from 11:00am - 2:00pm. The collection drive is open to all shows, theatres, and industry members in a collaborative effort to make cleaning out your theatre or your office a greener experience.

The BGA is thrilled to be joining Playbill, The Broadway League, and the Times Square Alliance for Curtain Up!, the three-day outdoor festival in Times Square to celebrate the return of Broadway, running September 17-19th. On Saturday, September 18th from 3:00pm - 3:45pm, an interview will be conducted with the BGA during The Playbill Variety Show. Everyone is welcome! BGA Fall Textile Drive

You are invited to join us at our kick-off Fall Textile Drive on Wednesday, September 15th from 11:00am-2:00pm in the center of Duffy Square. The collection drive is open to all shows, theatres, industry members, and fans in a collaborative effort to make cleaning out your theatre or your closet a greener experience. Wearable Collections, a NYC based company focused on keeping clothing, textiles, and shoes out of landfills while generating funds for charities, will repurpose or recycle the donations.

Part Two will dive into lighting, sound, stage management, company management, and development. We will have a conversation about actionable steps for each department, and how sustainable practices can help theatres be more people-centered and move closer to their mission after the pandemic.
